General Info

Suizan Noodle Udon Restaurant is an easy-to-understand choice for anyone looking for udon in a convenient Tokyo location. Set inside ecute Shinagawa South at Japan, 〒108-0074 Tokyo, Minato City, Takanawa, 3 Chome−26−27, this udon noodle restaurant suits diners who want a focused menu, quick comfort food, and a simple place to enjoy a bowl without making the meal feel complicated.

The menu highlights several udon dishes with strong character. 柚子胡椒の肉つけうどん brings together meat and the sharp, citrusy kick of yuzu pepper, giving the dish a lively flavor that feels bold without being too heavy. For something heartier, カツカレーうどん offers a richer option, combining the comfort of curry udon with the satisfying bite of katsu. It is the kind of dish that fits well when a warm, filling meal sounds right.

Seafood lovers may be drawn to 海老天釜玉うどん, where shrimp tempura adds crisp texture to the soft udon base. Meanwhile, 黒酢あんかけうどん 旨し gives the menu a slightly different direction with black vinegar sauce, creating a deeper taste that stands out from more typical noodle options. On warmer days or when a lighter bowl feels better, 冷やしごまだれうどん brings a chilled sesame sauce style that sounds smooth, nutty, and refreshing.

As a restaurant, Suizan Noodle Udon Restaurant works especially well for solo dining. The setting feels practical for individual guests who want to sit down, eat comfortably, and continue with the day. Reviews for this type of location often focus on ease, menu clarity, and dependable noodle dishes, and the provided details suggest a place built around that straightforward dining experience.

There are also a few service points worth noting before visiting. Suizan Noodle Udon Restaurant offers alcohol, which can pair nicely with a casual udon meal. However, delivery is not available, so the experience is centered on eating at the location. The restaurant also has no restroom and no wheelchair accessible parking lot, which may matter for some visitors planning their stop. For diners prioritizing udon, clear menu choices, and a convenient Shinagawa location, it remains a practical spot for a simple noodle-focused meal.

What customers say?

“ This was the best udon noodles I had on my whole trip in Japan. I found it when hunger hit me at the station, best decision ever. I made sure to come back before leaving, it was clean, delicious, and comfortable. I had the tatsuta udon noodles with black vinegar sauce and chicken katsu on top. ”

“ Expectations exceeded for station udon. Fried chicken was top-tier. Note that this is inside the JR station gate. Peak lunch hour seemed to have a queue. ”

“ A convenient place in Shinagawa Station that offers specialty udon. I specially love how smooth and easy the udon flows down the throat. The bowl is packed with fresh ingredients that you can be sure to have a very filling meal^^ The seating, which is entirely counter-top style, feels a bit cramped though with barely enough place to store bags or coats, especially in winter. But if you just want to have the udon craving filled, this is definitely a great place to do so^^ ”

“ Good udon restaurant in Shinagawa station. The restaurant staff is very friendly and happy to help. The zucchini tempura from the Assorted Tempura was especially tasty. There are only 18 seats in the restaurant, so please be respectful and not linger in the restaurant too long after you are done eating. There are 6 normal seats and 12 high chairs at the bar. Because the restaurant is small, the place feels a bit cramped and the atmosphere is not very cozy. ”

“ Definitely underrated ! This soba is one of the best EVER! I can simply eat this everyday ”

“ A bit unusual Udon noodle bowl shop- perhaps it is Okinawa or some region based. But to my surprise, the clear broth was tasty, a very thin sliced pork pieces were great, the needle thin sliced ginger balanced the pork taste wonderfully, and over all I really enjoyed this place for about 950 yen, quick noodle inside the Shinagawa Station. The lady inside the counter was very attentive, too. The only reason I didn't give it the 5 stars was because the noodle was not superb - they were very good. ”

- Mohri Hime -

“ Tasty ramen spot in Shinagawa station. I got the standard ramen bowl. The broth is flavorful, but much less seasoned then other places, which makes it great to the last drop. ”

- Ryan McCarthy -

“ The oyster udon is definitely a hidden gem in station. ”
